Rome, 11 January (LaPresse) – The first half of the match between Inter and Napoli at San Siro, valid for the 20th day of Serie A, ended 1-1. The first half was slow-paced but with sudden bursts of action. One such moment saw the Nerazzurri take the lead in the 9th minute. After winning the ball back from McTominay, Inter launched a counterattack with Thuram feeding Dimarco. The winger fired a venomous diagonal shot that beat Milinkovic Savic. Napoli felt the blow and suffered from the Nerazzurri’s initiative, but they failed to capitalise on their positive momentum. In the 27th minute, the equaliser arrived: Elmas made a run down the left, crossed the ball into the middle, and McTominay beat Akanji to it and scored.
