Serie A, Genoa–Cagliari 3–0: Ligurians draw level with the Sardinians

Rome, Jan. 12 (LaPresse) – Daniele De Rossi’s Genoa returned to winning ways by comfortably beating Cagliari in the relegation battle match of the 20th round of Serie A. The Ligurians took the lead through Colombo in the 7th minute, doubled their advantage with Frendrup in the 75th, and wrapped up the win with Ostigard in the 78th. With today’s victory, Genoa move up to 19 points, drawing level with Cagliari and extending their cushion to five points above the relegation zone.
