Thanks to this victory, the Bianconeri climb to 12 points in the standings, the same as Inter, securing a place in the playoffs and maintaining a slim chance of direct access to the round of 16. The Portuguese, who missed a penalty in the final minutes with Pavlidis slipping as he took the kick, remain stuck on 6 points, one step away from elimination from the competition.
