Australian Open: Rybakina wins women’s title, Sabalenka defeated in final

In the women’s final at Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena, the Kazakh tennis player defeated Belarusian Aryba Sabalenka, the number 1 seed and defending champion, with a score of 6-4, 4-6, 6-4. This is Rybvakina’s first title in Australia in her second final, after losing to Sabalenka in 2023.
