Milan, Maignan officially renews until 2031

Milan, 31 January. (LaPresse) – The love story between Milan and Mike Maignan continues. Last night, the Rossoneri club announced the renewal of the French goalkeeper’s contract, who has become a symbol and hero for the fans, until 30 June 2031. ‘Arriving at the Rossoneri in the summer of 2021,’ reads the statement published by Milan, ‘Mike immediately established himself as one of the team’s key players, distinguishing himself for his leadership, reliability and spirit of sacrifice, eventually becoming captain and a central figure in the team.’ Maignan has made 188 appearances for the Rossoneri, winning the Scudetto in the 2021/22 season and the 2024 Italian Super Cup. On an individual level, he was voted Serie A’s best goalkeeper in the 2021/22 season. Milan and Mike Maignan ‘are thus strengthening their bond,’ the statement concludes, ‘with the aim of continuing to write new pages of Rossoneri history together.’
