Milan-Cortina 2026, Italian athlete Rebecca Passler tests positive: it is the first case at the Games

Rome, 2 February (LaPresse) – The National Anti-Doping Court, in accepting the request submitted by the National Anti-Doping Prosecutor’s Office, has provisionally suspended athlete Rebecca Passler (FIS) for violating Articles 2.1 and 2.2. The biathlete was found to have traces of the substances Letrozole Metabolite Bis and Methanol. The test was ordered by Nado Italia. Although the alleged violation concerns pre-Olympic competitions, this is the first case involving the Milan-Cortina 2026 Games, as the Italian athlete was among the 10 selected for the Games.
