Milan signs Cissé on a permanent basis from Verona

Turin, 2 February (LaPresse) – Milan announces that it has acquired the sporting rights of footballer Alphadjo Cissè from Hellas Verona on a permanent basis. At the same time, the midfielder, born in 2006, will continue his adventure at US Catanzaro on loan until the end of the current season, according to a statement from the Rossoneri club. Born in Treviso on 22 October 2006, Cissè grew up in the youth sectors of Giorgione and Hellas Verona, clubs with which he established himself as one of the most interesting profiles of his generation. The 2023/24 season marked his definitive breakthrough: 16 goals scored with the Primavera team and his Serie A debut in May 2024. During this season, his loan spell at Catanzaro in Serie B is representing ‘a significant step in his development,’ the statement continues. Cissè has made 21 appearances and scored six goals so far, demonstrating his technical quality, personality and ability to make an impact in professional football. Confirming his constant development, his call-up to the Under-21 national team represents another important milestone: after playing for the Under-16, Under-18 and Under-19 teams – a category in which he had already found the back of the net – Cissè has made two appearances with the Under-21s. The Rossoneri club wishes Alphadjo the best of luck in his personal and professional endeavours for the rest of the season.
