Milan, Feb. 5 (LaPresse) – “Malagò not elected to the IOC board? I was surprised because Giovanni is a natural leader, we are playing at home and I expected a different outcome. I spoke with him, but we didn’t go into it further because right now there are other concerns; we need to carry out the Olympics in the best possible way, and that is the goal we must achieve together as winners.” This is what CONI President Luciano Buonfiglio said on the sidelines of President Sergio Mattarella’s visit to the Olympic Village in Milan.
