Cortina d’Ampezzo (Belluno), 17 February (LaPresse) – France won the gold medal in the men’s biathlon relay at the Milan-Cortina Games. Norway took silver, 9.8 seconds behind, and Sweden took bronze, 57.5 seconds behind. It was a difficult race for Italy: the Italian quartet of Patrick Braunhofer, Lukas Hofer, Nicola Romanin and Tommaso Giacomel, out of the running for medals from the first leg, finished in 14th place, 4 minutes and 28.5 seconds behind the French.
