Palladino’s team is defeated 2-0 by Borussia in the first leg of the playoff. The goals came in the first half. Guirassy opened the scoring at Signal Iduna Park in the 3rd minute, with Beier doubling the lead in the 42nd minute. The return leg is scheduled for February 25 in Bergamo.
