MotoGP: Buriram tests, Alex Marquez ahead of his brother Marc, Bagnaia 10th

Milan, 21 February. (LaPresse) – Alex Marquez was the fastest of all on the first day of MotoGP testing in Buriram, Thailand. The Spanish rider on a Ducati from the Gresini team clocked a time of 1’29″262, ahead of his brother Marc Marquez’s Ducati by +0.129 and Franco Morbidelli’s by +0.189. Marco Bezzecchi’s Aprilia was fourth, +0.200 seconds behind. Francesco “Pecco” Bagnaia’s other factory Ducati was tenth, with rumours suggesting he will move to Aprilia in 2027. It should be noted that Marc Marquez also had two crashes without consequences.
