Tennis: ATP Delray Beach, Cobolli in the semi-finals against Korda

Milan, 21 February (LaPresse) – Flavio Cobolli has secured his place in the semi-finals of the Delray Beach Open (ATP 250 – prize money $700,045), which is being played on the hard courts of the Florida city. In the quarter-finals, the 23-year-old Roman, ranked 20th and third seed, defeated Coleman Wong of Hong Kong, ranked 137th in the ATP rankings, who came through the qualifiers, 7-5, 6-7(7), 6-2 in just under two and a quarter hours. On Saturday, Cobolli will face American Sebastian Korda, ranked 50th in the ATP rankings, who defeated Norway’s Casper Ruud, ranked 13th and second seed, 4-6, 6-2, 6-2 in two hours and six minutes.
