Milano Cortina, closing ceremony: Italian team led by Vittozzi and Ghiotto

Rome, Feb. 22 (LaPresse) – The Italian athletes who won 30 medals at the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics entered the Arena di Verona during the closing ceremony. The Italian delegation was led by flag bearers Lisa Vittozzi and Davide Ghiotto. In the stands were the Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni and the President of the International Olympic Committee, Kirsty Coventry. Also present were the President of the Italian Senate Ignazio La Russa, the Minister of Infrastructure Matteo Salvini and the Minister of Tourism Daniela Santanchè.
