Crans Montana, Inter visits victims of New Year’s Eve fire

Milan, 27 February. (LaPresse) – President and CEO Giuseppe Marotta, players Federico Dimarco and Nicolò Barella, legends Francesco Toldo and Giuseppe Bergomi, and FC Internazionale Milano Medical Department Head Piero Volpi visited the victims of the Crans-Montana fire, which occurred on New Year’s Eve, currently hospitalised at the Niguarda Hospital’s Severe Burns Centre. The Nerazzurri delegation, according to a statement, met with the young people being treated in the ward, bringing them a message of closeness, support and encouragement from the entire Club. It was a simple but deeply meaningful moment, experienced with the utmost respect for the delicacy of the situation, to show Inter and its family’s participation in a complex and challenging recovery process. The occasion was also an opportunity to greet and thank the healthcare staff of the Severe Burns Centre and Intensive Care Unit — doctors, nurses and operators who work every day with competence, dedication and extraordinary humanity in the service of patients. Internazionale Milano expresses ‘once again its closeness to those involved and their families, wishing everyone a speedy and complete recovery’.
