Milan, 1 March (LaPresse) – The football world is mourning the passing of Rino Marchesi, former Serie A coach of clubs such as Napoli and Juventus. It was the Azzurri club that announced Marchesi’s death at the age of 88 with a message of condolence on its website. ‘President Aurelio De Laurentiis and the entire SSC Napoli join in mourning the passing of Rino Marchesi, a football icon and exemplary professional who coached the Azzurri from 1980 to 1982 and from 1984 to 1985,’ the statement read.
