Rome, 4 March (LaPresse) – Milan defender Matteo Gabbia underwent surgery to repair an inguinal hernia after consulting with Professors Ernest Schilders and Rowena Johnson at the Mayo Clinic Healthcare in London. The operation, performed by Schilders himself in the presence of Dr. Mazzoni, was a complete success. This was announced by the Rossoneri club. Gabbia is doing well and will return to Italy to begin physiotherapy. The recovery time is approximately one month.
