F1, Leclerc: ‘We had some difficulties with energy distribution’

Rome, 7 March (LaPresse) – ‘Today we had some difficulties, as was to be expected from the first qualifying session with these new cars. There was a problem with energy deployment in Q2, which was resolved as soon as we returned to the garage. We will use what we learned today in the next qualifying session.’ So said Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc, who finished fourth in qualifying for the Australian Grand Prix, the first race of the new F1 season. “It’s difficult to make predictions for the race: it’s the first weekend of a new regulatory cycle, and I believe this will be a championship won on development. We are very focused and will try to get everything we can out of our current package. It will be interesting to see how the various teams manage the race tomorrow,” added the Monegasque driver.
