Milan-Cortina Paralympics: Bertagnolli silver in visually impaired Super-G

Milan, Mar. 9 (LaPresse) – Giacomo Bertagnolli won the silver medal in the visually impaired Super-G at the Milan Cortina Paralympic Games. The Italian athlete, together with guide Andrea Ravelli, was beaten by 16 hundredths by Austrian champion Johannes Aigner (guide Nico Haberl) who finished with a time of 1’11″99. Bronze went to Canadian Kalle Ericsson (guide Sierra Smith) at 1″30. For the 29-year-old from Cavalese in Trentino, representing the Fiamme Gialle, it is the tenth Paralympic medal, the fourth silver, and the second in this edition of the Games after the bronze in downhill.
