Milan, 10 March (LaPresse) – Luka Doncic has been fined £35,000 for making an offensive gesture towards a referee during the Lakers’ 110-97 victory over the Knicks. The NBA announced the fine on Tuesday. With 4:35 remaining in the third quarter, Doncic fell backward after contact with Knicks forward Mohamed Diawara. He raised his hands and made a ‘money’ gesture to the referee by rubbing his fingers together. Josh Hart grabbed a rebound on the same play for New York.
