Milan, 20 Mar. (LaPresse) – Spain’s Pedro Acosta, riding a KTM, set the fastest time in the first free practice session of the new MotoGP Brazilian Grand Prix, with a lap time of 1’26″688, at the Goiânia circuit. Second place went to Australian Jack Miller on a Prima Pramac, 0.087 seconds behind. Third place went to Marco Bezzecchi on an official Aprilia, 0.230 seconds behind, followed by Marc Marquez’s official Ducati in fourth, 0.287 seconds behind. Franco Morbidelli on a VR46 Team Ducati was fifth, 0.482 seconds off the pace, whilst Francesco “Pecco” Bagnaia on the other factory Ducati was ninth, 0.891 seconds off. Enea Bastianini on a KTM and Fabio Di Giannantonio on the other VR46 Ducati were also outside the top ten, finishing 11th and 12th respectively.
