Rome, 7 April (LaPresse) – Carlos Alcaraz made a smooth start to the second round of the Monte Carlo ATP 1000. The Spaniard, ranked number one, defeated Argentina’s Sebastian Baez, ranked 65th, in two sets with a score of 6-1, 6-3 in one hour and four minutes. In the next round, the Spaniard will face the winner of the match between Argentina’s Tomas Martin Etcheverry and France’s Terence Atmane.
