The Golden State Warriors lost 113-119 at home to LeBron James’s Los Angeles Lakers, with James recording a double-double of 26 points and 11 assists. Brandon Ingram made his mark with 38 points as the Toronto Raptors beat the Miami Heat 128-114, with Simone Fontecchio never taking to the court. Kevin Durant – on the scoresheet with 29 points – gave the Houston Rockets a boost as they overcame the Philadelphia 76ers 113-102. Meanwhile, the New York Knicks, led by Jalen Brunson (25 points and 10 assists) and Josh Hart (26 points), beat the Boston Celtics 112-106, with Jayson Tatum’s 24 points proving insufficient. There was a comfortable away win for the Indiana Pacers against the Brooklyn Nets 94-123, and the Chicago Bulls also secured a victory on the road, winning 108-119 in Washington against the Wizards.
