Fabregas’s side were beaten 2–1 away to Sassuolo in the early kick-off of Serie A matchday 33. The hosts found the net through Volpato (42’) and Nzola (44’). Before half-time, Nico Paz pulled one back for Como. In the table, Grosso’s Neroverdi climb to 45 points, whilst Como, suffering their second consecutive defeat, remain fifth on 58 points, four points behind Juventus.
