Milan, 18 May (LaPresse) – Spanish rider Álex Márquez underwent successful surgery last night at the Hospital General de Catalunya for a fracture of his right collarbone, which was stabilised with the insertion of a plate. The operation – as announced by the Gresini team on social media – was performed by Anna Carreras, David Benito and Paula Barragán. Márquez is due to be discharged from hospital this afternoon.
