Milan, May 28 (LaPresse) – Back in the NBA Finals for the first time in 27 years, the New York Knicks are getting ready to put on a show at Madison Square Garden, both on and off the court. Facing the winner of the Oklahoma City-San Antonio series will be the usual parade of Knicks-loving stars, from Spike Lee to Timothée Chalamet, who never miss a game of their team. But there could also be a special guest in the Garden stands: U.S. President Donald Trump. The White House occupant himself revealed that he had been invited by Knicks owner James Dolan. “I think I’ll go to one of the games,” Trump said. “I’ve been invited by a lot of people, and I think I’ll go,” he added, as reported by ESPN. Trump would be the first sitting U.S. president to attend an NBA Finals game. In recent years, he has attended numerous high-profile sporting events, including last year’s Super Bowl LIX in New Orleans, the FIFA Club World Cup final also last year, and, of course, he will attend next month’s FIFA World Cup final.
