Turin, 29 May (LaPresse) – With the 2025–26 season having concluded with Roma’s victory in the Coppa Italia Women Frecciarossa, the countdown to the next one has begun. The start dates for the competitions organised by Serie A Women and the Serie B Women’s Division for the 2026-27 season are now official: the first to kick off, as was the case in the 2025-26 season, will be the Serie A Women’s Cup, which will begin on the weekend of 22–23 August. All 12 Serie A Women’s clubs will take part, with one change from last season: the semi-finals will be played, as per official announcement 243/A, as single-leg ties with pairings determined by a draw. The final, meanwhile, will be played on neutral ground over the weekend of 19–20 September. On Sunday 30 August, the Coppa Italia Women will kick off with the preliminary round, concluding over the weekend of 22–23 May with the final. The Serie B Femminile will begin on Sunday 6 September; as for the Serie A Women, the season will start over the weekend of 26–27 September, following the conclusion of the Serie A Women’s Cup. The Women’s Super Cup has been confirmed for the first weekend after Epiphany (9–10 January 2027). The Primavera 1 and Primavera 2 leagues will kick off on the weekend of 19–20 September; another new development concerns the Coppa Italia Primavera, which for the 2026–27 season will also see the participation of the 14 Serie B clubs, who will compete in a preliminary phase consisting of two rounds.
