The BBC reports this, adding that the Football Association (FA) is trying to ascertain what was actually taken from vehicles used to transport the kit to the Swope Soccer Village training centre. “We are investigating a possible theft of equipment from a team vehicle that arrived in Kansas City this evening, from which some items were missing. The investigation is ongoing,” said a spokesperson for the Kansas City Police Department, who is in contact with the FA. Two arrests have reportedly already been made in connection with the incident.
