Milan, Jun. 20 (LaPresse) – “In response to reports published by several media outlets regarding the alleged interest of our club in Bayern Munich player Michael Olise, Real Madrid C.F. wishes to clarify that it has had no contact, either direct or indirect, with the aforementioned player, his representatives, or anyone within his entourage.” This is stated in an official Real Madrid statement, which denies rumours of a possible transfer for the French Bayern Munich forward. “Real Madrid also wishes to emphasize the excellent institutional relationship it maintains with Bayern Munich, with whom it shares a long history of mutual respect, cooperation and admiration, and regrets the spread of unfounded speculation. Both clubs have always maintained a relationship based on trust and mutual respect,” the statement continues, “which is reflected, among other things, in the shared belief that any potential interest in a player from the other club must first be addressed directly between the two clubs, in accordance with the principles of institutional loyalty that have historically governed the relationship between Bayern Munich and Real Madrid.”
