Rome, 21 June (LaPresse) – Germany have qualified for the round of 16 of the 2026 World Cup after coming from behind to beat Ivory Coast 2-1 in their second Group E match. The African side had gone into the half-time break ahead thanks to a goal from Kessie in the 30th minute. In the second half, Germany turned the match around through substitute Undav, who scored a brace in the 68th and 94th minutes. Nagelsmann’s side top the group on 6 points, whilst the Ivory Coast remain on 3.
