Milan, 22 June (LaPresse) – “I feel good. We’ve worked hard over the last few weeks, so physically I’m in excellent shape. I’ve played a lot over the last few months, so a good training block was really necessary to allow my body to come back stronger, and I’ve recovered well. But the most important thing for me is to be in the right frame of mind, and I’m very happy to be here in London. I hope to be able to compete as well as possible.” Jannik Sinner said this during an interview with Vogue magazine ahead of the Wimbledon tournament, where he will return to competition following his dramatic withdrawal from Roland Garros after falling ill on court during his second-round match against Juan Manuel Cerundolo. “I took a week off and spent some time with my friends and family, which was really important to me. Then we got straight back to training, because we’ve got a very busy period ahead of us,” he added. “Wimbledon, of course, but we’ve also been working hard ahead of the American tour that follows. We don’t usually have much time to prepare for that part of the season.”
