Milan, 24 June (LaPresse) – Medical investigations are continuing for national biathlon athlete Tommaso Giacomel, who has been forced to take a break during this initial phase of his athletic preparation. The 26-year-old Italian biathlete, who fell during a training session a few days ago, underwent an MRI scan on his left shoulder which confirmed a dislocation, and today he will visit the IRCCS Galeazzi Hospital in Milan, where the FISI Medical Commission will review the tests carried out so far and, together with the athlete and his support staff, determine the best rehabilitation programme to follow for his return to physical activity.
