Switzerland scored through Vargas (46’) and Manzambi (57’), before David pulled one back for the Canadians in the 76th minute; a single point would have been enough for them to win the group. Bosnia secured a 3-1 victory over Qatar on Matchday 3 of Group B of the 2026 World Cup, finishing third and still in with hopes of reaching the round of 16.
