Both teams progress to the round of 16, with the Swiss topping the group. The goals came in the second half. Switzerland scored through Vargas (46’) and Manzambi (57’), before David pulled one back for the Canadians in the 76th minute; a single point would have been enough for them to win the group. Bosnia secured a 3-1 victory over Qatar on Matchday 3 of Group B of the 2026 World Cup, finishing third and still in with hopes of reaching the round of 16. In Seattle, the Balkan side found the net through Alajbegovic (29′), an own goal by Al Brake (34′) and a goal from Mahmic (80′). Al Haidos scored for Qatar in the 42nd minute. Bosnia move up to 4 points, behind Switzerland and Canada, and are hoping to progress as one of the eight best third-placed teams.
