Milan, 26 June (LaPresse) – AC Milan has announced “the appointment of Massimo Calvelli as Chief Executive Officer. Calvelli brings to the Club extensive international leadership experience in the world of sport, with in-depth expertise in the development and growth of leading global sports organisations and commercial platforms. In addition to his role as CEO of AC Milan, Calvelli will retain his positions as International CEO of RedBird Development Group and Operating Partner at RedBird Capital Partners. The appointment reflects RedBird’s distinctive model, which combines a long-term investment vision with integrated operational expertise to accelerate the execution of the strategy.” Before joining RedBird, Calvelli served as Chief Executive Officer of the ATP from 2020 to 2025, leading a period of profound global transformation for professional men’s tennis. Prior to that, he held international leadership roles at Nike, Wilson Sporting Goods and Amer Sports. Calvelli began his career as a professional athlete.
