Turin, 5 July (LaPresse) – Isaac Del Toro has won the second stage of the Tour de France, the 168 km route from Tarragona to Barcelona, which featured a final circuit with three ascents of Montjuïc. The UAE Team Emirates rider finished ahead of his team-mate Tadej Pogacar, who celebrated with him at the finish line, and Red Bull Bora Hansgrohe captain Remco Evenepoel. Jonas Vingegaard took fourth place, retaining the yellow jersey with a 6-second lead over Pogacar and a 15-second lead over Evenepoel. The other riders in the general classification trail by three seconds. Monday sees the third stage of the Grande Boucle, the final stage on Spanish soil: a 195 km medium-mountain stage from Granollers to Les Angles.
