Turin, 6 July (LaPresse) – Tottenham have officially confirmed the signing of Sandro Tonali from Newcastle. The Italian international midfielder has joined on a permanent basis from Newcastle. “I’m very happy to be here. When I arrived, I felt a fantastic sensation. There was talk of four or five clubs being interested, but in reality there was only one,” said the former Milan and Brescia player. “I spoke for nearly two hours with the manager about the club, the fans, the stadium and our style of football. It was magical; I realised straight away that I had to sign for Tottenham. I’ve played against them several times and have always found a fantastic atmosphere, created by extraordinary fans.
