Milan, 13 July (LaPresse) – Lorenzo Musetti can see the light at the end of the tunnel. Having been absent from the courts following a rectus femoris injury to his left thigh sustained at the Italian Open – which forced him to withdraw from both Roland Garros and Wimbledon – the Carrara-born tennis player is set to return to action on American hard courts. Musetti, who has slipped to number 14 in the ATP rankings, is in fact listed among the entrants for the ATP 500 tournament in Washington, scheduled to take place from Saturday 25 July to Sunday 2 August. The organisers themselves have announced this on the official website of the American tournament.
