In the final at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, the Red Fury beat Argentina 1–0 after extra time, with a goal from Ferran Torres in the 106th minute. Argentina were down to ten men from the end of normal time following Enzo Fernández’s sending-off for a second yellow card. This is Spain’s second World Cup title, following their victory in South Africa in 2010.
