Kevin Keegan, former striker for Liverpool, Hamburg, Southampton and Newcastle, and two-time Ballon d’Or winner in 1978 and 1979, has died at the age of 75 following a battle with cancer. “It is with immense sadness that we announce the passing of Kevin Keegan at the age of 75,” reads a statement from Keegan’s family, “surrounded by his wife and daughters in his final moments.” During his career, he won the Premier League three times, the UEFA Cup twice and the European Cup once. In Germany, he also won the German league title.
