Rome, 26 July (LaPresse) – A disappointing evening for Gianmarco Tamberi at the Italian Championships in Florence, where the Italian athlete failed to clear 2.20 metres. Tamberi, who took to the runway with a bandage on his right foot, was subsequently eliminated in the direct final after three failed attempts at 2.24 metres.
