Rome, 8 Aug. (LaPresse) – The match ball used by Diego Maradona in the historic clash between Argentina and England at the 1986 World Cup could fetch over 10 million dollars. The artefact, which played a central role in the match in which the Argentine scored the famous ‘Hand of God’ and the ‘Goal of the Century’, is currently up for auction through Heritage Auctions. Bids have already reached $2.65 million, whilst the auction house has set an estimate of at least $10 million. The sale is scheduled to take place from 21 to 23 August in the United States.
