Turin, 8 August (LaPresse) – An all-Aprilia front row in qualifying for the British Grand Prix in the MotoGP class. Jorge Martin set the fastest time of 1’56″160, ahead of the two Trackhouse bikes ridden by Raul Fernandez (+0.021) and Ai Ogura (+0.189), in second and third place respectively. Fourth place went to Fabio Di Giannantonio, riding the VR46 Ducati, who was the best of the Italians. Also on the second row were the other factory Aprilia ridden by Marco Bezzecchi, in fifth, and the factory Ducati ridden by Marc Márquez, in sixth. Pecco Bagnaia struggled greatly, failing to make it through Q1 and being forced to start from sixteenth. Fabio Morbidelli also made the top ten, finishing eighth. The sprint race is scheduled for 5.00 pm.
