London, Aug. 8 (LaPresse) – Jorge Martin dominated the sprint of the British MotoGP Grand Prix. The championship leader, after securing pole position, also won Saturday’s short race, finishing ahead of Aprilia Trackhouse’s Ai Ogura and his teammate Marco Bezzecchi, giving the Noale-based team a one-two-three. Fifth place for Ducati VR46’s Fabio Di Giannantonio, while both factory Ducatis struggled badly: Marc Marquez dropped back in the final laps to finish ninth, while Pecco Bagnaia was also down the order, crossing the finish line 17th after starting from 16th on the grid.
