Rome, 8 Aug. (LaPresse) – Italy have won a silver medal in the 4×1.5 km mixed relay on the Seine at the European Swimming Championships. The quartet comprising Marcello Guidi, Barbara Pozzobon, Ginevra Taddeucci and Gregorio Paltrinieri were pipped to the post by Germany, with champion Wellbrock touching the wall first in the final leg of the relay, closely followed by Paltrinieri and then Hungary’s Betlehem.
