Rome, 9 Aug. (LaPresse) – “With regard to reports appearing today in certain media outlets concerning an announced senior appointment within the FIGC for the deputy vice-president of CONI, we wish to state that, in accordance with the Statutes and applicable laws, the relevant offices and competent bodies have been promptly mobilised to assess any issues of appropriateness, ineligibility and incompatibility, in order to safeguard the National Executive Committee”. This was stated by CONI in a press release, following the announcement by FIGC President Giovanni Malagò that he intended to appoint CONI Vice-President Diana Bianchedi as head of the national football team’s delegation.
