(LaPresse) – UEFA is considering launching an investigation into Gianni Infantino’s conduct throughout his 16 years with the organisation, following revelations that an alleged mistress of his received compensation paid for out of UEFA funds. This is reported by The Telegraph, which states that UEFA’s leadership wants to know exactly how the payments were made and whether the alleged relationship influenced staff decisions during the period when Infantino held the post of general secretary. They also want Infantino’s conduct as a whole to be examined.
