(LaPresse) – Mattia Bellucci’s second appearance in the main draw of the ‘Cincinnati Open’, a Masters 1000 hard-court tournament at the Lindner Family Tennis Centre running from 13 to 23 August – held concurrently with the WTA 1000, which will be broadcast live and free-to-air on SuperTennis – has got off to a positive start. In the first round, the 25-year-old from Busto Arsizio defeated American Zachary Svajda 7-6(0) 7-6(4) in their first-ever head-to-head encounter. He will be Jakub Mensik’s first opponent in the draw.
