Rome, 15 Aug. (LaPresse) – At the European Swimming Championships, Benedetta Pilato has secured her place in the 50m breaststroke final. She won her semi-final in 29.84, the fastest time overall. Anita Bottazzo was eliminated with the thirteenth-fastest time. “I’ve improved since this morning; I’m happy to be in the final. It’ll be a tough battle, but we’ll see. These times aren’t quite up to my usual standard, but I feel I’m on the right track,” she told Rai 2.
