F1: Sainz Signs Multi-Year Contract Extension with Williams

Milan, Aug. 19 (LaPresse) – Carlos Sainz has signed a new multi-year contract with Williams, one day after the announcement that Alex Albon will also remain with the team through 2027. According to a statement, Sainz joined Williams in 2025 after leaving Ferrari, and although he is no longer in contention for victories, the Spaniard secured two podium finishes in Grand Prix races with the Grove-based team during a season in which Williams finished fifth in the Constructors’ Championship.
