Milan, Aug. 22 (LaPresse) – Lando Norris will start from pole position for the Dutch Grand Prix in Formula 1 in his McLaren. The British driver, the reigning World Champion, set a time of 1:11.163, finishing ahead of the two Mercedes cars driven by George Russell and Kimi Antonelli, who were 0.102 and 0.133 seconds behind, respectively. Oscar Piastri, in the other McLaren, posted the fourth-fastest time at 0.142 seconds off the pace. Ferrari struggled, with Lewis Hamilton fifth at +0.331 and Charles Leclerc sixth at +0.395. Home favourite Max Verstappen, driving for Red Bull, qualified seventh, 0.455 seconds behind Norris. The race is scheduled for tomorrow at 3:00 p.m.
