At the ‘Luigi Ferraris’ stadium in Genoa, the Neapolitans beat Genoa 0–2. The match, part of the first round of the Serie A season, was decided in the closing minutes by the two substitutes, De Bruyne and Vergara, who scored in the 82nd and 87th minutes respectively.
